Is it cradle cap?

My LO is 4 weeks old and I think he may have cradle cap. He has yellow scaly patches and flaky skin on the scalp, its around his face, and behind ears and armpits. Any suggestions or home remedies on how to cure?

I just took my one month old to see his doctor because of this. I’ve never had a baby that had it on their body until this baby. She prescribed him an anti fungal to put on the rash twice a day, then told me to top it with aveeno eczema lotion or aqua for (nothing scented or colored) and for cradle cap on his head, I was told to use a dandruff shampoo. Just make sure you rinse away from eyes so it doesn’t get in baby’s eyes.

i used baby shampoo on the area and did small circular patterns with a soft bristle brush and then applied lotion post bath. it got rid of half the cradle cap in one sitting. did it again the next day and now it’s resolved.
