Stabbing pain around clit

So I’ve struggled with this for a while now. I randomly get stabbing pain like there’s a knife trying to cut me on my clit! It hurts so bad to even sit or walk! I can’t even touch it. It goes away after a min but this time it’s been like this for half an hour and now I’m getting cramps as well. I just ovulated a few days ago and idk if it’s due to that since I think this happens a week before my period. I really don’t know and would like to know it any other women get this at times??
