Anyone take a glucose test already?

I took a 1 hour glucose test at 9 weeks and failed so tomorrow I’ll be 10 weeks I gotta take a 3 hour test 🙄 I hope I pass 🤞🏻

Is there a reason you had to do it so early? I thought they didn’t do it till 28 weeks or something like that

I took the 1 hr test at 8 weeks (family history and older sis had gestational. ) failed the test and immediately went to monitoring/testing sugars.  Just got put on insulin today because fasting is giving trouble. Currently 13 weeks.

I did. Took my 1 hour. Failed. Took my 3 hour, and now I’m seeing high risk being treating for ‘pre existing’ diabetes. Only reason they are calling it that is because it was diagnosed before 28 weeks. You just have to watch your carbs. It sucks sometimes but I had it my last pregnancy so I know how to manage it.

I failed both and I’m checking my glucose now .. hopefully I won’t be placed on insulin

I took one during my first trimester screening and my result was a 6 and the cutoff is 5.4. Although I did have a ginger ale and a piece of chocolate 45 minutes before the test. I now have to take the two hour test tomorrow morning which I’m not looking forward to!!

I chose to do daily checks for the past 2wks instead of drinking that nasty crap. I can tell I have it already this time. They wanted me checked since I had GD my last pregnancy.
