Done having babies??

I will be having my tubes tied in 2 weeks I hear so many stories good and bad. I feel it’s the right thing we are happy with 3 children we only had our minds set on 2 and ended up having 3. Any one care to share their story how the process went? Any side effects? Recovery?

My husband is going to get a vasectomy. We have a friend that recently had a tubal pregnancy after 3 years and of course had to have surgery.

Everyone I know that has had it done has ended up with post tubal ligation syndrome and said it is hell and they regret it. It’s the reason my SO got a vasectomy instead.

I didn’t have any side effects but recovery for me was painful like to sit up, laugh, cough and sneeze, so you have to put a pillow on your abdomen and kinda hold tight to it when you are doing those things. Also be sure 10,000% that neither one of you want anymore children. Even if you get it reversed, depending on how much tube is gone, it can cause issues with getting pregnant or having ectopic pregnancies.

I regret not getting my tubes tied during my 2nd csection 10yrs ago.
At the time we wanted to have the option, but later we decided not to have any more and I'm still dealing with birth control, it's so annoying!
