Check-in 2/27 & 2/28

It’s retrieval day!!!

Here we go! It’s my second retrieval today at 9:30 am. I’m optimistic and excited, but at the same time nervous.

My first retrieval we got 8 eggs (all mature & fertilized), 4 made it to blastocysts and frozen. We’ve used 3 so 1 is sitting on ice.

This time we’re testing and I hope we have a similar outcome, if not better. Fingers crossed!

*UPDATE* - the retrieved 5. While it’s not what we were expecting I’m still thankful we got some eggs! The embryologist will call tomorrow to let us know how many have fertilized. 🤞🏼
