hyperemesis gravidarum & FMLA
I’m suffering from pretty severe hyperemesis gravidarum.. I’m considering applying for intermittent FMLA to protect myself on the days I’m too sick to work.
- side note I’m a phlebotomist at a local hospital. I work 5am -1pm most days going room to room drawing blood.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone knew how or if intermittent FMLA would affect maternity leave/FMLA when that time comes?
Also if anyone has any tips or tricks to dealing with this that’d be great. I’m 7 weeks and already had a hospital stay for dehydration.
