COVID and Friends

Natalie

Does anyone else have an older child in the house? My husband’s teen daughter lives with us and wants to hang out with her friends outside of school. Many people in my town don’t take the virus seriously, and while that may be well and good for them, it’s not for me. I’m a basket case about getting COVID and we’ve been doing everything we can to avoid groups, dining out, and close contact with others. We held a virtual gender reveal and plan to do a virtual or drive-by shower. This is our first baby together and it took two years for us to conceive this miracle. Part of me feels it’s warranted during this unfortunate time but part of me also understands she wants to see friends. What do you do?
