Too early?

I had an early ultrasound today for cramping/spotting to rule out ectopic. I am 5 weeks and 4 days and they couldn’t see anything in the gestational sac. Is it too early or should we be seeing something by now?

It depends... I had one at 5w3d and was able to see yolk sacks but no baby yet. I have to go again next week and hopefully we will see a baby and hear a heart beat 🥰

I didn’t see anything at 5w1d went back a week later and saw baby and heard heartbeat!

This was mine today. Only had a yolk sac, no fetal pole. I’m somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks.

I think it’s from 6 weeks you will be able to see something and a heartbeat I payed private but they told me no point till I’m 6 weeks because they will be nothing to see

I think it depends. I went at 5 w 3 ds and had the yolk sac but some people dont
