Me and my fiancé are getting married in a few months. But before him I was a single mom she is 2 1/2. Her father hasn’t been involved. Maybe 2 times he has seen her. But he isn’t on the birth certificate and we broke up when she was a month old. He doesn’t help and doesn’t really do anything. With that being said, my fiancé wants to adopt her and have her last name changed. Her last name is my last name currently. How would it all work? Is that possible?
