Looking for advice input

Lauren

We had been casually trying and got pregnant. We wanted to be but we haven’t done anything to REALLY TRY. I got pregnant and unfortunately it was ectopic and I ended up having surgery and losing my left tube. I have to schedule a two week post op but I want to go with good questions to ask the doctor about what to do to give us a better chance of getting pregnant. What can we do to (best of our ability) to avoid this happening again. Etc

So I’m really looking for some advice on how to give ourselves the best shot what we can do to REALLY TRY. (We are so lost in the really try department) I have no idea how to. I have 4 other sisters and no one has had any trouble ever getting pregnant. We joke how fertile we are! Never thought I’d have trouble.

We really want to try we really want it to work and we really don’t want to go through this again I’m so terrified of going through this again and losing my other tube too. I’m not against adoption in the least but this was also something I’ve always wanted.

Maybe I just need some comfort or this rant I don’t know what I need but I know I need some kind of hope and a plan to make this work.

To dr: casually tried, got pregnant, was ectopic, lost left tube, want to try again, help?
