what is this??

does anybody know what this could be? it’s been coming and going for almost a year. it gets a lot worse than this (skin falling off in bigger chunks, very itchy, sometimes cracks and bleeds, weeps most of the time). i’ve been to my doctor but they didn’t give it much thought. should i see a dermatologist maybe?

it gets quite embarrassing showing anyone my hands and i cover it with bandages sometimes to so bits of fluff or hair getting stuck in it.
