I have a 2 yo German Shepherd who was like our baby before we got pregnant. We are five days home with our newborn and our dog is very anxious. Our dog is very sweet but wants to sniff her aggressively, tries to lick her, and wants to jump on us to smell her. When our little one is quiet, our dog lays and sits calmly in the room, but the second she makes any noise, my dog jumps up, tries to sniff her and whines. We are keeping them far away and not allowing our dog into the baby’s nursery. My dog has been in her crate a lot and I don’t want to keep her cooped up 24/7, especially since she has so much energy. Any helpful tips? Please help- thank you 😥
