Anyone doing elimination communication (early potty training)?

My daughter (8 months) has a hard time going #2 so when I start hearing her grunt I pop her on the potty. It helps her go in two pushes and a lot less struggle. This is technically elimination communication though not full blown. Just curious if there was any other mamas doing this too.

I tried it with my first and he just turned 3 and is still in diapers. Safe to say it did not work. We were finally getting somewhere about a month ago, but then he went and broke his arm and I was too nervous to pick him up and hold him on the toilet. So now we’re back to square 1. We will try again in a couple of weeks once his arm is done healing. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've never heard of this. That's really interesting but I don't think it would work for us because we aren't pushing hard for poops right now so I wouldn't catch it in time. We get surprised by the smell after he poops 😂

I've been so interested in this but get overwhelmed about it. My baby doesn't do anything different when he poops or pees so its hard to track signals
