Resin art, selling it? Worth it?

Hello I want to start doing/selling some arts and crafts. I recently had the idea of resin. There's some factors that come into play if I do it or not.

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my roommate and bf, and sometimes his kid. So work space may be an issue. But if I really dedicate myself to it I wouldn't mind making closet space. I know resin can be toxic, going to take precautions.

I'm also worried about price point but I'll figure that out.

But I'm MAINLY worried a lot of people already do it so what's the point? Then I'd just be competing with the masses.

I'm also worried I'll fall off it if I lose interest. Because I use to want to do candles too but after I bought all the supplies getting the mixology right just didn't work so I gave up.

I'm ALSO a student with a full time job.

Anyone else have ideas/similar experience?
