Measuring earlier than thought? Anyone else ever had this?

Hi all, I went for my dating scan today. Thought I was 8weeks and 4days however only measured 6weeks 2days. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be due to late ovulation? This is my rainbow baby so trying to stay hopeful.

This happened to me but in addition to baby measuring 2 weeks smaller, the heart rate was slow. I knew I didn’t ovulate later because I’m always regular and I wouldn’t have gotten a positive test when I did. The next week baby’s heart was no longer beating. I was really hoping that I was wrong about when I ovulated because I know it can happen often.

I’m measuring a few days behind than I thought I was. Doctor said I just ovulated later.

Hasn’t happened to me, but yes it’s possible you ovulated later than you thought.  Are they having you come back in a week or two to check again or check your levels or anything?
