is this my mucus plug? tmi/graphic

im 37+4, 4cm and 70% thinned as of yesterday. ive been losing big chunks of mucus for a few weeks now but this mucus is brown. its 45 min to the hospital and i was just there yesterday and i dont wanna drive unless i have too. what is this???
*note that im having contractions this morning too and a lot of cramping

I don’t think your mucus plug is supposed to be that color. Maybe get checked out.

I lost mine 1 week ago. Still pregnant and having to get induced because I’m not dilating anymore . :/

Mine has never been anything but brown or red like bloody mucus. That look honestly more like placenta to me! I’d definitely go in and maybe take that in with you too

Looks like it could be your mucus plug I would call l&d and let them know what’s going on. How far are the contractions if they are happening 5 every minutes or less than you definitely need to go to the hospital !
