Does Braxton Hicks feel like period cramps?

I’m confused. I looked it up and said it feels like a tightening in the uterus that shouldn’t be painful. I’ve been having some cramps here and there that don’t last long at all and are very irregular but it is a but painful, like mild period cramps.  My sister who’s had a few babies keeps telling me it’s Braxton Hicks but google tells me they shouldn’t be painful lol so I’m not sure what to think!!

Cramps are normal. It’s just everything growing and shifting around. Don’t worry about it. Braxton Hicks isn’t painful, just lots of tightening.

Hmmmmm the ladies comments makes me wonder. I went in for cramping in my lower left quadrant. My doctor said it could be braxton hicks. Didn’t necessarily feel like a tightening. Sometimes it felt like a throbbing or sharp pain/cramp. I guess mine could just be accommodation pain or round ligament 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m 20 weeks 5 days and started having Braxton Hicks and they aren’t painful at all just an uncomfortable tightening feeling. Call your doctor or midwife and express your concerns so they can give you the correct medical advice.

My Braxton Hicks were very uncomfortable but were not painful. They happened a lot when I would walk so I had to sit down or it got too uncomfortable. The cramps could just be everything growing and stretching. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t remember it hurting at all, my stomach just got really hard
