Holoprosencephaly 😫😫😥😥

(Ftm) This pregnancy was a shocker and a blessing. I was put on insulin at 6wks bc my sugar levels was high. I went to all my Dr.appt and tried to be diet controll through my pregnancy. Some how I got hit with issues with my baby early in my pregnancy. I had a test done with the needle in my stomach (cant think of the name).... Then was hit with a brick of words that my baby has a 50/50 chance to live. She was diagnosed holoprosencephaly meaning Normally, the brain divides into two halves (hemispheres ) during early development. Holoprosencephaly occurs when the brain fails to divide properly into the right and left hemispheres. ... In the most severe forms of nonsyndromic holoprosencephaly, the brain does not divide at all. I made it through my pregnancy to 38wks and she live for one day. I dilated to 5cm and stopped. Had to have a c section, which was my first surgery ever.
