How is potty training going???

Question

We have been doing the naked method. So no bottoms and he goes in his potty. However soon as I put an undie or pull up it all goes out the window. So he has to just be naked but we are 2 months in now and it's ridiculous for him to run around like that. Idk what to do. How is your journey going?

Following!!! In same exact boat. 
We started the naked training method earlier this week. It gets annoying because I gotta slap on a diaper if we do any little
Thing outside the house. I also don’t strip
Him down until he’s had his morning poo. He just refuses to poop on potty. He has his favorite spots he goes and hides lol. But fortunately he only poops once a day so after he does that I just take off the diaper. 
I have wondered the exact same thing! How do I get him to not pee and poo in his underwear once we introduce those? Ah, I need to do more research I guess. Let me know how it goes for you!!!

Sounds like he just might not be ready yet.   My October baby isn’t ready to potty train yet although I really wish she was.    Trying not to stress it too much as it isn’t worth the hassle to fight her on it.

I’m a believer that if it’s an ongoing thing then it’s not really ‘potty training’. It’s just prolonging the process until the child is actually ready. 
I’m not forcing it until my little guy is 100 for it. We have the potty next to our toilet for him to familiarise himself with and we talk about the using it. It’s just casual and fun at the moment. 
We used the same method with my now 4 year old, one day she decided she was ready, did her business and that was the end of potty training. She never wore a nappy again and has never wet the bed. She was 2 years 10 months at the time.

We try monthly to see if he shows interest, and he only goes if I leave him naked. My other little boy wasn't potty trained until a month before his 3rd birthday.

My October baby has been doing great! It's a hit or miss with pooping though. She still wears a diaper during nap time and bedtime.
We started with a potty in our living room and being bottom free. We rewarded her with M&Ms when she went and made a REALLY big deal about her going in the toilet. Slowly I started moving the potty back into the bathroom. It took about 2 weeks to get the potty back into the bathroom. When she started getting the hang of it, we added underware. Yes we went through multiple pairs of underpants every day. But oh well.
It really helps if you have an older child, a monkey see, monkey do type of thing.
Some kids just take a longer time and some aren't ready. When they tell you they've gone in their pants, its time to REALLY push them.

We do the same thing. I don't think it's "ridiculous" to have him run around the house with no bottom on. You need to make them feel comfortable with their body. It's taken months, but he's finally keeping pull ups dry and even going to the potty on his own. It doesn't happen overnight.

I honestly don’t get the running around naked thing. I feel Ike it just creates another problem . We only did one day of it to show my son where the pee was coming from and then went straight to underwear . It can take a long time to train them. Yes for a few it happens over night but I don’t think that’s the normal . Also lots of reminders because kids are kids and they will easily get distracted and forget to go use the bathroom . We did a timer method and it worked . It didn’t happens over night but he’s three and has been fully potty trained since he was 2 1/2 . We started with him around 27 months when he could clearly verbalize the words I have to pee/poop.

Mine will wet her pants if we don’t remind her while we’re in the house. But if we take her anywhere in the car, she does perfect. Not sure what is going on because she was perfectly potty trained two weeks ago, even waking us up at night to go...
