is this abusive behavior

all throughout my life my dad has been really mean to me. i’m 17 btw

i’ll give an example on how he acts,

so I had just gotten out the shower and he came to my door and started talking and i replied. he started yelling at me and said “answer me” because i guess he didn’t hear what i said and i said “i did”. he told me that was an attitude and for some really that made him really mad and he started beating on my door and told me to open it now. i kept telling him i wasn’t dressed because i got out the shower and only had a towel on and no clothes. he kept yelling and beating on the door and made me open it. he came in and took off his belt and started hitting me with it while i was naked.

i think about it a lot and it makes me sad. he does stuff like this all the time.

is that abusive?

my mom has tried to call cps on him and they didn’t do anything so i’m stuck here and he always acts like this but no one cares when i try to get help. they just think i’m being dramatic.

i talked to cps like three times and went to court twice to try and live with my mom but nothing has happened.
