Have u had ur glucose test?

I’m just wondering who has taken their glucose test yet? A friend of mine just did hers at 10 weeks. I always thought it came later. My doctor hasn’t mentioned mine yet. I’m 21 weeks. My bump buddy is 23 weeks and hasn’t done hers yet either.

They do them early if your at a higher risk. 
My OB does them early based off BMI (30+) and family history. 
I had mine done at 16 weeks. I’ll have another done at 28 weeks since I passed at 16 weeks

My doctor does them at 28 weeks. They don’t even mention it until the 24 week appointment.

i did mine at 24 weeks, my dr gave me the orders to go to the lab in the same building different office and said i can do any time between 24 weeks & 28 weeks so i did it the same day i was iffy because i had a full blown sugary meal and i didn’t fast but i passed my one hour test in the first try🙂

I’m getting mine done tomorrow at 12 weeks because I had gestational diabetes my last pregnancy. If it’s negative I’ll get another done at the usual 26 or 28 whatever it is.

Standard timing for low risk patients is 24-28 weeks. I had mine at 16 weeks because I’m high risk and was diagnosed with GD at 18 weeks. High risk patients can be tested as early as the first trimester.

I’ve never heard of them that early. My doctor does it anywhere from 26 to 28 weeks pregnant.

One of my friends did hers that early since she’s considered overweight and has a family history for diabetes. Most of the time it’s done early if you’re at a higher risk

My dr does them between 26 and 28 weeks, sometimes if someone is at a higher risk to develop gestational diabetes the dr will test in early pregnancy as well as later

With my first I had a 2 hour test at 8 weeks and again at 28 weeks. With my youngest they just gave me a blood sugar home that.
