Weird question

Does it feel different before you lose your mucus plug? Today and yesterday I’ve felt like I’m going to start my period , usually before i

start I’ll feel like there’s a flow about to come, then it does. I’ve been feeling that now to wear it does feel like it’s coming out but then I’m super dry when I go check . I did have a glob of discharge a few days ago. I know the mucus plug can regenerate though . I’m 33 weeks and I know it doesn’t usually come out at this point . I had this feeling last week after some small spotting but both went away . Last night I had more spotting and still have this feeling of a flow . So just curious and yes I’ve been in contact with my doctor about the spotting .
