Losing belly fat

I'm trying to get slim thick, sorry if it's annoying. I know a lot of women want it. I'm very determined though. I've been eating to gain weight, doing glute & ab exercises about 3 times a week, sometimes 4 if I feel like I can. I'm gaining a bit of belly weight but satisfied to how much my bum is growing. How can I lose belly fat but keep my bum? Do I just keep exercising & if it gets to a point where the belly fat is too much do I start cutting? My plan was to just gain weight & just exercise as much & as hard as I can to turn the fat into muscle.. I'm 5'3 & currently weigh 116 lbs. Not sure if I should focus on losing weight or just keep doing what I'm doing.
