Was I Wrong?

I’m on a dating app and I started chatting to a guy about 3 weeks ago. I don’t see this guy as ‘boyfriend material’, I just enjoy our chats and see him as a friend only. So tonight, he asked me what I was doing for the weekend. I replied that I had a date on Sunday (I’ve been speaking to someone else for a while now). He text me back saying “Are you trying to make me jealous? 😋”, I replied “Why would I want to do that?” And he said “Because you said you have a date coming up. Then I explained how he asked what I was doing this weekend and I just answered his question. He then told me that I could’ve left that part out otherwise he wouldn’t of been jealous. Was I wrong for telling him the truth?
