am i overthinking??

so I was hanging w my bf and his friend called him. a friend I never heard of. basically he asked if my bf could come hang out cuz they were all getting together to drink. my bf said he couldn’t and i’m assuming the friend said why cuz my bf was like “i’m busy rn”....... should i be upset he didn’t say he was with his gf?? he’s never posted me anywhere which is completely fine w me but sometimes I get nervous that i’m being hidden from his friends. we’ve been dating a year. am I just overthinking??
