33 Week Pre-Term Labor. Again..
I woke up Thursday morning to some contractions around 3:30am. I’ve been having a lot of contractions off and on for about 6 weeks, so I’ve just been managing them at home with water and rest. But Thursday they continued all day. Starting 7-10 min apart and getting closer together until 2-3 min apart. They weren’t super painful, so I kept hesitating to call L&D. Finally I called and they had me come in to monitor me. I made it to L&D at 2:30pm. They watched my contractions and decided to give me a blood pressure medication to try and slow them down. After 2 doses of this medicine, they were still coming 2 min apart and starting to get more painful. So they gave me a shot of something (started with a T, cant remember the name) and that finally stopped them! Just praying that I don’t go back into labor for at least 2 more weeks! My birthing center doesn’t deliver before 35 weeks because they don’t have a NICU. So I’m reallllly hoping to make it at least 2 more weeks!!!
