period question

i’m 10 weeks pp and exclusively breastfeeding but I took the depo shot at my 6 week appointment and got my period last week.. they are normally only 3 days with the 4th day just spotting but it’s day 6 and i’m still bleeding red🙁 is the birth control going to do that to my periods? i’m not in pain or anything which is good but kind of annoying considering I don’t normally go this long.. first time on birth control
