Would you be okay with your in laws staying with you for a whole week when you are 36 weeks pregnant?

My sister is throwing me a small baby shower for what was supposed to be a small group of ladies. My MIL has decided to fly in and has informed us she will be staying in our house for a whole week. She is also bringing my husband’s younger brother with her, and possibly her sister. She already tried to invite 2 other brothers to stay out our home but we said NO. She has also tried inviting additional uncles, friends etc. to what is supposed to be a very small, ladies only baby shower. I should also add that the baby shower is being held in our house which is already very stressful to have to prepare for and clean up after a party while being pregnant and wanting to prepare my home for baby. We only have 1 extra bedroom which means she will be staying for a week in our baby’s nursery that we have already set up. We’ll have to disassemble the crib to get it out of the room to make space for her. 
I guess I am just very stressed about having to host, feed, and entertain people in my home for a whole week. Especially since I’m already having terrible mood swings and can barely move now at 30 weeks and I’ll be 36/37 weeks pregnant when this is all happening. I am introvert and really value my alone time and a whole week just seems waaaaay too long when I know I’ll want to be deep cleaning and nesting during that time. 
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think I’ll feel fine and able to be social at 36 weeks? I hope I’m just overreacting!

Your husband needs to talk to her. People can't just announce that they and other people will be staying in your home without asking. Especially when you're pregnant. Especially during a pandemic. And really, never. They need to ask.

I wouldn’t disassemble my baby crib for no one she will sleep on a twin size blow up bed playing with me.

I would not be okay with it. Some people are natural hosts and I AM NOT. I’m sorry but I do not like people in my home and I even feel uncomfortable in other peoples homes. I really would speak to my husband about it because that is stressful to have people over.

Unless they are very helpful just say no, they can find a hotel to stay in. As for entertaining, if they are going to be there for more than a day or 2 they can cook and help clean. I also wouldn't be disassembling the crib, if they know you don't have the space and are going to stay anyways they can cram in next to it and sleep on an air mattress 🤷🏻‍♀️
I had my mom with me at the same time for my shower for a week but she helped cook and do all the dishes so I could sit and relax or do the extra little things I wanted to do before baby arrived.

Your husband needs to talk to her, at the end of the day YOUR COMFORT is most important right now. But I will also say, that she could end up being a huge help. You would know better on what to expect with her as you know her, but she could end up being super helpful with cooking/cleaning & things like that. But I think you should talk to your husband & have a talk with her. Figure out some solution or even ground rules, it is your guys home :)

Oh hell tf no. That is way too much. Being 36 weeks is hard enough as is, let alone preparing for your own baby shower and hosting family!! Idk how your husband feels about it but I would mention to him that it’s too much for you and maybe ask if he would talk to her and tell her you both agree she can’t stay that long as you’re already struggling being heavily pregnant and dealing with everything else too. I really feel for you and I hope you can figure it out!

I absolutely would not be okay with this. I hate it when other people invite themselves over but this is just beyond pushy of her. Tell her to get a hotel.

Wow, you’re not overreacting and honestly I’d just offer to split a hotel bill with her and have no one stay at my house. That’s too much work and added stress when you weren’t planning on it nor did you offer! That’s very inconsiderate of her.
