Colposcopy? Pap cell abnormalities?

In 2019 I had a pap done when I was pregnant with my daughter. My results came back abnormal and HPV +, they wanted me to come back in 2020 to retest but because of covid I never got around to it. Now in 2021 I had my pap done and I’m HPV- but I still have abnormal cells. “Epithelial cell abnormality -Gyn Interpretation -Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASCUS)” My ob scheduled a colposcopy but of course it’s 3 weeks out so I’m stuck worrying sick while I wait. Anyone have a similar experience where it was 2+ years of abnormalities?

I’ve been dealing with this since 21 (24 now). First pap (21) High grade abnormality- colposcopy & biopsies came back totally benign just inflammation. Second pap (22) came back low grade abnormality, told to come back in a year. 3rd pap during my current pregnancy (23) came back ASCUS but cannot rule out high grade cells + HPV positive 🙄 I was an absolute nervous wreck & its been so annoying going through this every year. Due to my pregnancy (preggo w/ twins) I’m already a little more high risk so my doc decided to do the colposcopy without biopsy. She said she didn’t see anything abnormal at all under the scope. I’ll be having a repeat colposcopy after birth & hoping I don’t have to get biopsies again. ASCUS is the lowest grade abnormality & can literally be caused by anything- yeast, BV, semen in the vagina, blood... my OB doesn’t even consider this as a true abnormality. Can I ask how long it took your HPV to go away?

I'm on year 5 of this whole situation,  I'm supposed to have a leep procedure after I have my baby in June , but they want to continue to do a colp with biopsy to make sure cells maintain malignant. The doctor keeps thinking that my cells will heal since I'm so young , but so far not the case.
