TTC and implantation bleeding

Hey all! Hope I can get some reassurance from you from my situation.

A little background I am currently TTC for baby 2. My son is 19 months old currently, I went off birth control in January but still nurse my son 4-5 times a day.

My first cycle off birth control was abnormally long for me, 38 days. I had a day of mild spotting during what would have been the start of my normal cycle (day 28) but didn’t have my normal period until a week later. I’ve always been 28 day cycles so it’s been frustrating to now not be.

So for this cycle I got a positive ovulation test on March 11th. I had sex with my husband that day and the 13th. So I am thinking our chances are looking really good right?

So I’ve been nauseous the last 3-4 days and super extra tired. Yesterday, 8DPO and 5 days before my expected period (based off that ovulation test) I had mild spotting. I had one intense cramp on my left side and bright pink spotting. Nothing really else yesterday and most of today except for the occasional dark red tinge when I wiped. About 2 hours ago I stared having some off and on bad cramps and now a light flow of bright pink/red spotting. I am still so hopeful this is implantation bleeding but I’m also feeling like the truth is this is my period this month. Anyone have anything similar happen? What were your results/outcomes?
