61 hours of labor!

Tuesday morning ~7am- Contractions started. They were pretty much an hour apart from the get go. Had a couple moments where they were farther apart.

Wednesday night ~ 1 Am - 42 hrs- contractions became 5 minutes apart

Thursday 1:30 AM - checked into the hospital and was already 6 cm dilated

8 AM - 49 hrs - finally became 7 cm dilated

Noon - 53 hrs - still 7 cm dilated so was hooked up to a Pitocin IV

2:30 PM - 55 hrs - still at 7. I wanted to have a natural birth but I reached my breaking point and got an epidural.

5 PM - 57 hrs - still at 7. Water still hadn’t broken so we broke it artificially

6 PM - 58 hrs - reached 9 cm! 🎉

9 PM - 61 hrs - placenta ruptured, and the baby’s heartbeat went into the danger zone. Emergency c-section

9:15 - My baby boy was born!
