Sex while breastfeeding?

Hi, does anyone still have sex drive while breastfeeding? I’m 3 months pp and exclusively breastfeeding, running on lack of sleep. And I’m extremely dry down there and zero sex drive... worried because I do want to have sex again comfortably but I just feel exhausted Everyday and so dry it hurts to think of it. 
Does it get better? Heard my menses will only come back when my supply dips but don’t think that’ll be any time soon as my baby boy is a milk guzzler...

It wasn’t breastfeeding that killed my sex drive those first months, it was just general post partum discomfort and exhaustion.  Use lube and give yourself time.  It definitely gets back to normal.  I’d say it was around 6 months that I had a big increase in my sex drive and still have it now, while still breastfeeding (and also pregnant)

It does get better. I totally know how you feel. Your body is going through a huge physical change but you’re also going through a big life change. My biggest hold up with sex was that I felt like everyone else needed my body for something, like it wasn’t even mine anymore. I would say to try to push yourself to have sex with your husband (when you are comfortable, of course) and use a lot of lube. It really does help to connect with him. But also, be open about it with him. And your doctor as well! Talk to your OB or GP about it and there might be something they can do to help!

I breastfed for 2+ years and definitely had sex with my husband. Being exhausted sucks but your drive has nothing to do with breastfeeding. Things will eventually get back to normal. Hang in there! And so what’s comfortable for you. And coconut oil makes great lube, btw. 😉

Go super super slowly and use a good lube. Also put down a towel you might leak milk 😂

We started having sex again around 5 weeks pp... I know, not recommend lol. But yeah we don’t very often at all because I will usually tear (almost 6 months pp now) and I’m a few days getting over it 😵. My period came back at 7 weeks pp even though I exclusively breastfed or pump.

Yes lol we had sex very frequently while I breastfed and plan to this time as well! It didn’t change anything for us.
