Well maybe they’re in recovery and one of the 12 steps is making amends, they’re single again and hoping that the sex window is open and if they could use you. But remember they are an ex for a reason, never allow loneliness or desperation to be the reason that you settle for less, taking an Ex back Shows them that you will tolerate whatever bad behaviors they had and that they can do it again and again because you don’t wanna be alone. You share children together, he wants something back that you still have, he’s getting married and wants his engagement ring back talk about a kick to the nuts to you, no matter what the reason is, I wouldn’t bother
