Dilated

Anyone have an experience with early pregnancy and your already dilated?

I been in and out of the hospital due my pelvic pressure and abdominal lower pain. They kept checking my cervix for past three weeks also I’m almost 37 weeks. They examined my cervix and they said 5 1/2 cm and I admitted overnight to see if anything change if not , they’re sending me to home and they told me she couldn’t speed me up because I’m only 36 weeks and it was considered as a early and allow my body and the baby come out on her own. I was SUPER frustrated because I had my two daughters born at 36 weeks and I still not understand why they can’t do anything with me if I’m being suffering for past three weeks!?
