Herpes or boil? Please help

Does herpes ever look like a boil? I used to get boils a lot on my thighs when I was overweight but haven’t in years. This one is very close to vagina opening. It’s on the inner labia - it looks just like a boil and popped just like a boil

( I know I probably shouldn’t have popped it but it was so painful & now that is popped it had definitely eased up and not hurting as bad)
