20 week scan
I am 36 and expecting my first baby in August. We had our 20 week scan today (it was the first appointment my husband could tend because of Covid) so it was very exciting. My little man was not super cooperative. They managed to get all the images but one of his heart, the ductal. They also discovered I had a low lying placenta ( they were very clear to say it as not placenta previa) The doctor at this office (I referred outside my practice to a maternal fetal specialist due to my age. I am otherwise very healthy) didn’t seem too concerned, but wanted to repeat the scan in 8 weeks. As a first time mom I am just a little nervous, and wanted to know if anyone has had similar experiences. We’ve wanted this sweet boy for so long.
