Weaning signs

FTM, baby is 7months old and has been exclusively breastfed since birth. He has taken breast milk from a bottle occasionally very early on and I have weaned him to nursing once a day (the morning feeding). I plan to nurse/pump until he is a year old. So what are some signs that an infant is ready to wean from nursing completely? Like I said, even if I stop nursing, I will still continue to pump and give him breast milk in a bottle. He is just becoming increasingly difficult to nurse. Any thoughts?
