When to wash all of baby clothes & such???

Hey Mamas,
Just wondering when did you all or have you all started washing your babies clothes before their arrival? I’m 30 weeks with 69 days left to meet my beautiful little girl but haven’t started washing her clothes and things because I don’t want to do it too early. I’m a FTM so I’m new to all of this.

I’m planning to wash and put away all our newborn and 0-3 month clothes, burp clothes, baby blankets etc from my first next week when I am 31 weeks. I’m starting a new job at 32 weeks so I don’t want to take time off from a new job so I just have a day off next week to get it done and move all my toddlers clothes to their new big kid dresser.

I say do it when you have the time and energy.  There is no harm in having it done early:)

My advice is only wash the small stuff for now. You get so much stuff during baby showers that seasons might be off and you might not use it all. So you can return it. I washed a ton and just never had my daughter wear it. I learned quickly to keep tags on so I could return to target or Macy’s if needed.

I do it when I feel like it. Washed all her clothes and blankets so I can start organizing etc. I don’t think theres a right or wrong time.

I wash the clothes, blankets, sheets, burp cloths, etc. around 36 weeks. It’s really only two loads of laundry, so it’s not much work.

With my first, I had everything washed and put away by 35 weeks and went into labor at 38 weeks

I think if you wash the blankets and clothes by 36-37 weeks you should be good to go! ✌️

Two of my babies came early (one at 36 weeks, one at 37 weeks) so I plan to get everything washed and put away no later than 34(ish) weeks

I’ve been doing it as I have the time!! I’ve only washed newborn to 3-6 month sizes though!! That way i don’t totally overwhelm myself😅
