Am I the only one that thinks pregnancy sucks?

Don't get me wrong creating a child is indeed a special experience to go through. Creating and caring that life for 9 months is spectacular. But God, do I despise being pregnant. Im pregnant with my 3rd child(conceived with birth control) and when I found out my husband was excited while I'm sitting here thinking about everything im about to go through for the next 9 months. Mainly the summer. Its a bittersweet thing for me. I kind of wish I could fast forward to when the baby comes out. 🤷‍♀️

This is my 2nd pregnancy. I am 9 weeks and 4 days. No enjoyment yet.... My back is hurting, joints feel like jello, the cramping scares the crap out of me (had an ectopic for my first pregnancy and had a traumatic experience with being cut twice), extremely tired with no motivation, my MW said to ensure a safe first trimester- I shouldn’t climax (really missing it....), and I feel like crap knowing I am not living up to my work’s expectations at this time. This is so hard for me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Trying to be positive for baby but I’m really struggling.

Yep totally agree. I don’t even feel that bad compared to most, but even though I wanted it, honestly it has me wondering whether it’s all worth it! You’re 100% right when you say that people only share the good stuff and are too scared to share all the really tough stuff that goes with pregnancy - and we are the worst for it! I think it’s important that we’re brave enough to share, to voice our doubts, and to support one another through one of the toughest times in our lives! We’re a nurturing bunch; we should be nurturing one another 😊

Literally same!! I told my husband I’m not doing this again... this is so miserable! 😂 I’m grateful but the 24/7 nausea is literally taking the enjoyment out of it! Not to mention my body feels like it’s on fire 24/7! It’s insane! 🥺🥴

You can totally complain and be thankful at the same time! I had awful nausea and vomiting throughout my entire first pregnancy. I sobbed all the time, I was in pain, and my body was absolutely worn out from the constant loss of calories. That was just the physical battle! We sometimes seem to forget that pregnancy is quite the mental battle as well. You say goodbye to the body you had to yourself, and the lil bean inside makes themself at home! Yet somehow, I always found myself searching for cute baby items, awing over ultrasound pictures, and having mini meltdowns over how perfect my baby was going to be! Both can exist!

I agree! Right now the fatigue is brutal 😳 and I have 3 under 4 so I don’t have time to be tired!!
