Marijuana and miscarriage link?

Does anyone have any info, specifically on male usage of marijuana? My husband and I are both medical MJ users but I quit several months before we ttc. We have 3 healthy kids but I just had my first miscarriage at 9 weeks and I’m completely gutted. We’ve both smoked heavily for years, I only quit when I’m ttc, pregnant or breastfeeding. Just wondering if there’s any evidence that his smoking could have been a factor for my miscarriage. The only thing they found wrong was my progesterone was low, but they also said that can be the cause or the result of a miscarriage :/

There's honestly no way you'll ever know what caused it, but it's highly unlikely that's it. Don't play the blame game (with yourself or him). It sucks but it's only part of your journey. Trying to find a reason will only make the grieving harder. These things happen. A lot more that most people realize. It just wasn't meant to be this time, but don't give up hope ❤

Yes. It inhibits the uptake of folic acid, which is a risk on its own. It also can stunt growth and brain development. I suggest looking into the leading medical association’s webpages, which detail multiple potential negative consequences to your child. Also, smoking, as a whole, presents a secondary layer of risks. 
As for him... marijuana is very detrimental to sperm supply, including morphology. Smoking near you exposes you to secondhand. I’m sure it’s also on his clothing, which you touch.

I lost my baby at 9 weeks too and the father was a chain smoker and he drank a lot and smoked MJ I got pregnant 2 months after the miss and that baby didn’t make it past 7 weeks 😩😔I’m not sure if the smoking was the problem but I’m sure it didn’t help
