Am I being petty?

Hello ladies,

I’ve listened before about my SO and here I am again! So, this mans didn’t do anything for our 1 year anniversary or Valentine’s Day. Which hurt. I’ve made him a few gifts in the past (randomly to show my care) and he hated them so I ended up keeping them. He was at my apartment last weekend and we had a huge fight (drunken stupid fight) but I was able to tell him how disrespected I’ve felt in him not celebrating the important milestones in our relationship or enjoying the things I’ve made him. He also will straight up tell me he “doesn’t care” when I talk to him about some things so it makes it hard to connect.

Anyways, my birthday is next week. I haven’t said anything to him about it and neither has he. Now I know we wouldn’t see each other for it (long distance 2 hours and I have class and him work), but I’m curious if he even remembers it. I disabled my birthday on Snapchat and Facebook, so it shouldn’t send him a notification. — is that petty? I want to see if he remembers it.

If he forgets it, i think it’ll be the end. How do you forget someone’s birthday? Your SO of over a year? Am I being petty or is this reasonable?
