Should I keep in touch

I matched with a guy three weeks ago, however he lives in another state to me but plans to move once he finishes his study. He is a really nice guy and doesn’t seem like a douche I’ve also spoken to in the past on dating apps. We’re both have an Italian background and get on like a house on fire. We talked about everything, body count, fave sex positions etc 😅 nothing is off limits. He did bring up that he isn’t really looking for anything and is happy to chat at times. Which I’m cool with because I mean he lives pretty far. I don’t know whether I should continue based on a friendship and then if and when he moves maybe something will develop?
