Break up with my bf?

Hey guys soooo quick lil story me and my bf have had the same problems for a while now and everytime I tell him about my love language and how I would like if she showed his love this way or etc he says he understands but really doesn’t put effort in and when he does is only because i remind him and repeat it and I am getting tired of it its like every time I mention it he does it the next day and never again. It seems like I just don’t feel the same anymore because its like if he doesn’t care or doesn’t truly listen and doesn’t do it because he WANTED to. Am I wrong to just want to break up ?
