Scary news from Anatomy US, anyone else experiencing this??

Nicole • Momma x2 💚💜+🌈🤰

I had an OB appt yesterday after my anatomy ultrasound on Monday, and my doc let me know I had "marginal cord insertion" she didnt explain too much what it could mean, but only said that rather than implanting in the middle of the placenta, the umbilical cord was attached off to the side. I wish she would have gone into more detail as to what that could mean for the baby, but only let me know that I'd be having some additional ultrasounds at 32 and 35 weeks (currently 19w3d). So I had to dig into what this means for myself..

Sooo of course now I'm spinning. My first child, 2 years ago, had some scary news from the NIPT test, but that was cleared about 2 weeks later after further testing. This issue however is kind of on going, and could even be an issue during labour/birth. There is no relief from this one.. I'm so scared there will be complications now .. I am scared baby will need to be delivered early by c section (my first was delv'd vaginally at 40w1d). I am scared baby might not get what they need and not grow properly..

I am just scared now.. so many things CAN go wrong in pregnancy and I just want this little one to be okay... any body else have a similar situation???
