Baby’s Kidneys are Large?

Hi everyone.

I’m feeling a little worried at the moment. My early lab results for the genetic testing came back all negative and low risk in my first trimester. For that, I am very grateful. However, I just had my 20wk anatomy ultrasound and the pictures revealed that my baby may have too much fluid in his kidneys. My midwife said not to worry and that most times when they see scans like this, it’s just something affecting the technology not necessarily something wrong with the baby. So they are asking me to come back and get more scans done. Of course that’s hard to hear, even tho he is growing beautifully and normally in every other way. Have any of you experienced this before? What were the results? Was baby okay? What does this mean?
