Sensitive down there

Does anyone else feel more sensitive down there during different points of their cycle? My husband gets so angry with me when I tell him it hurts when he rubs too hard sometimes or that I’m too sensitive at times when other times it feel good. Is anyone else like this?

He literally stopped having sex with me and went to sleep on the couch because I asked him to go softer rubbing me down there.
