Cervical cerclage ?

For those of you who have a cerclage, did your Doctor tell you not to have sex? 
Do you have sex? Does it hurt? How many weeks are you?

Hi I had a cerclage in my last pregnancy and will be getting another Tuesday with my current pregnancy. I was 100% on pelvic rest once cerclage was placed. I haven’t known anyone who was told they could continue to have sex once it was placed.

Pretty sure you are put on pelvic rest with a cerclage. Having sex could "mess" with it. And that's not what you want.
