Is that application safe how do you use it? 
Do you link it with your SS # and bank account info?
A friend asked me to open an account for them on cash app using my info but I don't understand how the app works
Have any of you used it before?

Why do they need you to open an account for them though??  That sounds scammy on your friend’s part haha.  If they’ll have access to the account you open, then they’ll have free access to your bank account.

In general it’s a safe app. It’s a legit way to send and receive money electronically. Now, I wouldn’t recommend you opening an account for your friend because there is absolutely no reason they can’t open one themselves.
