Does anyone expect their partner to get the COVID vaccine before baby arrives?

I have my vaccines. Our families are very invested in GOP and refuse their vaccines, which is their views and I support. However, they do not live with us. I think my fiancé should get his vaccine because he will be in the home with baby. Opinions?

My husband was fully vaccinated at the first opportunity. He’s a teacher so he was lucky enough to get early access. It wasn’t even a question.

Everyone should be getting vaccinated. Obviously it’s a choice, but we’re lucky to have a vaccine available. Either get the vaccine or stay home and out of society, in my opinion. My husband and I both got ours the second we could.

That’s his choice. If you support your husbands family then support him in what he chooses.  He shouldn’t be forced to get it just because that’s your view. That’s just one sided

I put no, I’m fully vaccinated and my bf got his first shot already. I wouldn’t expect him or demand him to do anything tho... 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s a personal choice

My husband got his second dose last week. Initially we were both on the fence/against getting it because of the lack of long term research. After doing more reading into it, we both decided to get vaccinated to help provide a bubble for our little one. 
Obviously, it's his body and his choice, but I think it is worth some honest conversation based on the evidence that is available, not just fear and conspiracy theories. I think most  parents would want to provide the safest environment possible for their kids...

I mean, we both have ours, as does most of my side of the family. I would’ve expected my partner to get it regardless but because that’s just his values.

I said yes, but only because we are both already getting ours. I worked in medical for 9 years and have a general medical degree so he trusts my opinion

My husband got his because he wanted to keep me and our daughter safe, but I wouldn’t have expected him to. The vaccine is still so new and even though studies are coming out daily, there is always a risk that something may go wrong. I don’t expect my family to regardless of their beliefs, but I do want them to be safe around our new baby which may include quarantining themselves before seeing baby.

I'm in the UK and we're not in the group for getting vaccinated yet, and currently they don't recommend it from pregnant or breastfeeding mums, so we won't be vaccinated before baby arrives
We have an 18 month old son too
