How does one date?

I have social anxiety, socially awkward and never made friends outside of school. Which by the way I'm 34 years of age🤷🏻‍♀️. I don't hangout with anyone, but my family. I also don't work.. 😔I was in a 8year relationship and he screwed me over. We were also friends for 15 years.... before that I was married. Never made friends while with him too. How does one date? Or make friends outside the "internet".

So like today... I was going to the dispensary with my aunt. While I was inside I noticed very handsome man. I walked by and locked eyes with him. While I was making a purchase he came over and we locked eyes again for good while.. Then he started a conversation with my budtender. I ended up walking away wanting to say something but I didn't. I actually got the shakes and nervousness. Was that enough to have him want ask for my number? idk. I really couldn't smile because of the mask. I'm such a dork🤦🏻‍♀️
